Craving great gnocchi
I am coming to Toronto on a visit in October and would love to have some great homemade gnocchi at a restaurant.. I would love some recommendations. Last time I was there, I went to Terroni's on Adelaide and had pizza but was disappointed, it wasn't like the pizza I experienced on Victoria street several years ago.
That aside, I am craving some fabulous homemade gnocchi.
IMO sounds like you had an off night at Terroni. They have a new and larger location that you may wish to try on Adelaide. I still frequent the Queen W location with great success, albeit I have never ordered the gnocchi.
Five Doors North and Vittorio's both have excellent gnocchi

I've enjoyed the gnocchi at Noce, but it's been a long time. Might have to revisit in the next couple months.
Edit: the gnocchi aren't listed on Noce's current online menu- might be worth calling to find out if the online menu is up-to-date and/or to inquire whether they're serving gnocchi.
Carisma has gnocchi on their dinner menu. Haven't tried their gnocchi yet, but hope to try them this fall. http://www.carismarestaurant.com/pdfs...
I also want to try the gorgonzola gnocchi at L'Unita. http://www.lunita.ca/dinner

My favorite gnocci in the city is at La Bruschetta on St. Clair. Wonderful family restaurant.

Try Ritorno, my hubby had it friday night.. little light pillows of goodness. Not the heavy doughy type that someplaces tend to make. House made everyday and great sauce alos.
