Junior Masterchef Australia 2011

chris2269 Sep 24, 2011 04:56 AM

The show starts this Sunday...can not wait if it's as good as the last season.

The AU version of this series is the best IMO. (Adult version or JR)
The American version is a basterdization (SP) of the show.
The UK version is really dry (Half English so I don't mind but I understand)
The NZ version is good just needs more production value (Value = money)

Anyway if you can check it out I would.

I've been catching up on all the episodes thanks to you and couldn't agree more (now that I have AUS to compare), fantastic show. Junior was my fav.

Funny thing is there are 12 year old's doing more complicated dishes than anyone on Hells Kitchen.

I gave up watching even clips from HK. I'm not fond of train wrecks as entertainment and the back stories after each season ended left me cold. Young people learning the ropes, energized about culinary arts and techniques--that's good tv (for my valuable time!).

I know! The US Masterchef is such a disappointment. The winner cooks stuff the rejects from Masterchef AUS manage to cook and do it even better.
