help me

i am looking for fresh kencur that is used in indonesia cooking...Kencur (kaempferia galanga) is a rhizome related to ginger ..some call it lesser galanga...i am from atlanta georgia...anyone can help?...thank you so very much

    1. You might try Buford Highway Farmer's Market.

      1. Maybe try Super H Mart. I think that if you find this in Atlanta it will be somewhere in Doraville or the Buford Highway corridor.

        1. I think that DeKalb Farmer's Mkt has had this at times, too. I assume you're talking about the same galanga used in Thai cooking (looks like fat ginger with bands around the roots).

            i think what u mean is galanga...yup ..for thai cooking like tom yum soup and else..this one is a diff kaempferia galanga l.....great for cooking (certain food) and medicine as well...thank you for your info,,i will find out and let you guys know...
