Planning 2 dinners for Miami - please help weigh in on the choices
I've been tasked with planning two dinners for a work trip. Personally, I am a foodie so food takes precendence over ambiance, etc. Having said that, I have never been to Miami and feel that ambiance may be part of the experience.
I don't want to go overboard on $$$ so $30-40pp for the entire dinner is what I'm thinking.
I have more or less decided on Michy's for 1 night.
For the 2nd night, here are some possible choices:
-Azul
-Nobu
-Alta Mare
-Ola
-Spiga
-Bond St Lounge
-Aura
-Others???
The 1st two may be out of the price range but if you have thoughts on how much, that would be helpful. I've been to Nobu's in Europe, LA and NYC - I would say that dinner is generally $60+pp so I don't know if Miami would be more or less.
TIA!

I'm not sure how many people are in your dinner party, but I have always gone to Spiga when in South Beach which is at least once a month. It is a very cute restaurant in a great location. It has a front porch dining area that is perfect for people watching. The food is excellent, and well priced, good freshs fish, and pastas. Service is professiona and friendly. I also think their riccotta pie is amazing and their tiramisu is the best in Miami.

$30-$40 for an entire dinner with ambiance is a really tough request. I don't think michy's makes it and neither do most places on your list. You would do well by searching this board for other ideas.
