Chef Michael Burgess - where is he now?

Most recently of Masona Grill, before that he had his own place Nightingale, then before that (in no particular order) Hamersley's, Eat, Vox Pop, maybe others. Anyone know where he's at now? A nostalgiac moment about the wonderful old Eat restaurant in Somerville has got me wondering. I could find nothing on Google more recent than Masona. Thanks.

  1. He is out of the resto business and now is a catering director, can't remember where though.

    1. Michael worked for a few years at MAX Ultimate Food, a catering company in Boston. Then he left because he got an executive chef position with Restaurant Associates at (I think) Harvard Medical School.

        Thank you. I can imagine that sort of corporate position would be saner and friendlier in many ways than restaurant work. I'll content myself with my memories of Eat.
