Nice. They resemble giant striped candies and they look pretty too.
I'm pretty sure that was even old when it was posted. The Japanese have been doing this for a long time but that was the first attempt at commercial production.
New to me as well. "To fit better in the refrigerator" Wow . . . though I can think of a few TV food personalities who would delight in using those as a centerpiece. Thanks for the laugh, even if it was of the alarmed sort.
