Turkey - Thanksgiving

  • 7

Hi, I would love to get some suggestions of where to order a good turkey for thanksgiving. I live downtown. The best turkey I have ever had was an organic free range turkey from a local farmer. Unfortunately I missed the cut off this year.

  1. Well if you have $$$ to spare I saw Fairmont offering a cooked turkey dinner for 180$ in their windows display when I walked by yesterday.

We got that from the Royal York one year for Christmas and were so disappointed and angry at ourselves for wasting that money. Dried up turkey, blah potatoes, and frozen veggies. Just don't.

Oh thanks for sharing. I didn't realize it would be that bad. Longos downtown had a promo so might try that some time.

    2. Fresh from the Farm....Donlands Ave just south of O'Connor...great turkeys.

Ditto on FFTF. If you want something more subway accessible, The Friendly Butcher has a shop on the Danforth:

        1. Also saw Longos offering Turkey kit on their website for 90$
