Five Year Anniversary Dinner in Monmouth County - Suggestions? (Looking for Beef Wellington and Risotto)

Hey All,

Looking for a nice restaurant in Monmouth County that has a tasty Beef Wellington and Risotto. Any suggestions?

  1. Good luck on the beef wellington, but I had some really great lobster risotto a couple years ago at Le Fandy in fair Haven. An excellent BYO. Romantic and the food is simply fabulous!

    2. I rarely, if ever, have seen Beef Wellington on any menus on Monmouth County. However, Seared Scallops over Black Truffle Risotto is one of my favorites at the Belford Bistro, just off Hwy 36 in the Belford section of Middletown. My wife and I have gone there to celebrate our wedding anniversary a couple of times. I was a little disappointed with their papperdelle pasta last time, but their crab cakes and mussels are always top shelf, and they have a nice selection of specials on the weekends. Plus it's BYOB, so we always down a bottle of champagne to start, then a nice wine with dinner.
