Smoke Daddy's Winter Menu is baaack!
Was happy all day today cuz I promised myself din-din from Smoke Daddy's! So many choices: cuban sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, cheesesteaks, burritos etc etc. But I had to get the fried chicken. My friend and I feasted on a whole fried chicken, smashed potatoes, greens and baked beans. Oh my! Need to join a gym Now! Because I will probably not be able to resist going back for more on saturday. He still has ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken too. Got a drumstick and thigh in the fridge right now. Must resist!!!!!!

Busted. :) I still believe in the raw vegan diet. The devil is in the details. I should do an update on the General thread I was commenting on. I was talking to the wonderful lady clerk at the Lansdale post office about her grandmother's cooking. She told me about the mincemeat and strawberry pies she used to eat. She said she could taste them right then as she was describing them.
Cooked food is so evocative. I did have some breakthroughs though. Got some corn from Frankenfield in Towamencin last week and it tasted amazing raw. I couldn't bear to cook it.
But on thursday I'll be seeing Smoke Daddy. He has some mexi-cue items too. I got a chicken taco on saturday that was tasty. Maybe I'll get a burrito this time. Or a cubano. Enjoy your sticky bun!

Hell yeah! Crisp, meaty, juicy. Bliss. Just remember to open up the styrofoam box immediately so that lovely skin doesn't steam and get all soggy. I'm not the only one apparently. I could smell the fresh frying oil as I pulled into the parking lot. And usually the smell of the smoker permeates all.
