Has anyone been to the brunch at the Royal Sonesta recently, within a few months? I will be staying there next weekend and want to make sure its a good choice for all I dare to drink champagne and hotel food . I have reservations at all of the places like Commander's Palace, Brennans, Bayona etc. that are most peoples "must dos", just want a solid buffet.

Had the Christmas brunch this year. It was very extravagant if that it was you want.

We had early reservations and it was chaos (but sorted its self out pretty quickly). I'd recommend not being a part of the first seating. I had to fight to the head of the line (more like a crowd) and check in. Then wait nearby to hear our named called.
