Dinner near Kleinfeld's (Chelsea/Flatiron)
Hi
Last minute request, did not have time to do my usual research and did a quick search on the board couldnt find anything - going to Kleinfeld's this evening and we are in need of a place for dinner after the dress appointment. Nothing too elaborate or fancy perhaps someplace with tapas or small plates. All price points and cuisines. Preferably within walkin distance of the salon, which is on W. 20th Street b/w 6th and 7th Ave.....
Thanks so much in advance...

We used to walk by Sagaponack B&G often on our way to the defunct Allegretti (further west on the block near 6th) and wondered how it is. Sounds as though it's worth trying. Now on my "go to" list.

Best wishes on the impending nuptials. I did the wedding gown hunt with our daughter several years ago. Made a stop at Kleinfeld's. What a hoot! We did not get the gown there.

Nuela. You can sit in the large bar area and have ceviche and small plates.

Probably too late, but I'll throw in my suggestion anyway. I also went to Kleinfeld's before my wedding (a must for any bride, IMO) and afterwards my sister-in-law suggested we go to Bar Stuzzichini (Bway between 21st & 22nd) so that's where we ended up. Italian small plates, their prix-fixe was a very good deal, and everything was delicious. This reminds me, I should go back and check it out again - but anyway, that'd be my rec.
