Decent Lunch in South Hackensack?
I'm working in South Hacksensack, NJ now. Does anyone know of any good lunch spots in the area that are good? Yelp isn't helping me! It may be that this area is devoid of anything reasonable, though. I hope not!

Years ago our work group had lunch at Bazzarelli's once a week, lunch was very good.
Not sure if it's still as good but worth a try.

Hey! Thanks everyone! I'm sorry, I TOTALLY forgot I posted on here awhile ago! I need to go through this list and check things out. I've ended up at Panera Bread a lot, which isn't bad but, I'd like to find a reasonable, comfortable, non-chain kind of place. Clove, in East Rutherford, has a great Indian lunch buffet, Ploi Thai has had some good Thai lunch, and Sakhahar in Moonachie has some great, very inexpensive, vegetarian/vegan options too.
I'm definitely going to look into these! Thanks for the help. Now, to find a decent coffee shop and a supermarket (Though, I hear an Aldi's is opening soon)!

Oh, OK, so you basically want fast food, not restaurants. I think, other than the pizza places mentioned, there is little on this thread in your category-- perhaps Pollo Tropical on 46 n Little Ferry.
Panera Bread is a pretty gruesome place to lunch, IMO-- overpriced and underwhelming--
There is a ShopRite supermarket on River St on the Little Ferry/Hackensack border...

For Italian, a byob named I Gemelli, the old Aldo and Gianni has always been reliable. Great homemade Pappardelle in Vodka sauce, Stracciatella soup. The seafood specials can be pricey relative to the general menu.

Pollo Mario (or Mario's Pollo?) - downtown hackensack by the courthouse- does some amazing columbian chicken/beans/chiccarrone. Great prices as well
I've heard good things about the Indian restaurant further down main, though I have yet to sample their wares.
Green Papaya in Riveredge can be decent, esp. their tofu dishes

101 Pub on Queen Anne Rd in Bogota is pretty good for a burger or sandwich, and Luka's on Main in Ridgefield Park is very good. For Greek the new Sparta on Main in Ridgefield Park is decent.

There's no ambiance, but Pollo Tropical in Little Ferry on 46 has some damn good Caribbean BBQ chicken dishes.
