Izakaya Sakura and Tsurubashi

Izakaya Sakura was high on my "restaurants I want to try list". I notice Tsuruhashi (japanese BBQ) is in that location, 3904 Convoy. Did they move, or close, or just change names/ownership ?

Izakaya Sakura is open. Ate there on Saturday witth a nice group of friends. Excellent as always. Try anything with the uni, which I believe to be the best in town. With respects to Kaito, of course.

Sakura has zero signage other than the neon "OPEN" sign in the window. Nothing else.

To clarify cgfan, when driving in the mall parking lot : the Original Pancake House is to the far right and then there are buildings along the the back of the mall. On that far right is the Army recruiting signage and just next to that is Sakura. With the neon OPEN sign. One table in front with one ashtray on it.

Tsuruhashi is in the set of buildings to the left, across the parking lot from Original Pancake House. Big sign on the building and on the mall signage.

Izakaya Sakura is in the other wing of the same development, in the space to the "far right" when facing the businesses.

I think they're both in the same plaza, different suites. I haven't been there in about 6 months though so not 100 sure. My friend did go to Sakura last month though so they should still be there.
