I'll be in Frenchtown with a group of eight friends. Would like your recommendations for a good restaurant. Thanks.

I can't imagine going to Frenchtown without eating at the Frenchtown Inn.

I have heard that the Frenchtown Hotel has opened up again and is pretty good.
If you are heading to Milford, Ship Inn would be the better choice, revamped menu with a focus on local ingredients and good homemade British beers.

I think you mean the National Hotel in Frenchtown. We ate there and it was just average bar food.

Yes pretty sure that is the one. Was that recent? I heard they closed for a while and reopened but I am not sure of the timeline.

Personally would drive to Milford, and go to the Oyster House. A little farther south the Seargentsville Inn is a great destination. Ive never had anything but light breakfast and lunches in Frenchtown.
