I ended up there due to a friend's coupon. Delicious al pastor tacos, posole, mole--broad menu, friendly service. Not very busy.

I've been there once a couple of years ago, probably not all that long after it opened. I think it's moved one door down since...
It was some of the best and most authentic Mexican I've ever had. So, so delicious. I still think about it, but for some reason we never think to go there. Thanks for the reminder.

Does it still turn into a dance club later on in the evening?

No, they have not moved a door down, still in the same place. I've been there several times and have always been impressed with the food.

The dance club is upstairs. I imagine the street-level restaurant gets more crowded on Fri & Sat nights, but I've never been there on those days (can't find a parking spot :-).

Reviews on other sites give it about a 3 of 5 stars. Google shows it's on E. Lake. Nice web site.

Hi sk,
It's on the same block that Town Talk Diner used to be on. I've seen some not so good reviews on other sites, but they have sopes and pork en pibil and menudo and we really liked it. I think if they'd been really busy they'd have been understaffed, but would definitely go back for those flavors!!

oh yeah, this jogged my memory, thanks! i've noticed this restaurant before, have not had a chance to try it. nice to know it's a good option if i'm in that area.
