The Toorshi pickles are well made, they use good veg and you can tell, this is not the cast-off stuff a lot of other commercial picklers use.
However they not exactly the pickles we are used to, they are a specifically Armenian style (Toorshi is an Armenian word that means "pickled mixed vegetables") and the flavour profile is quite different than the pickles we usually get, some people love them, I'm not a fan myself but you should try them and see for yourself. if you visit their farmer's market stands they always have samples available. Hratch the owner is a really nice fellow, just don't call the pickled cucumbers "dill pickles".

I think we buy them for $8 at Wychwood Barns. We enjoy all of the varieties....including the spicy ones.

The left side of their web site lists retailers.
They also serve the pickles at Goody's Diner.

Thanks Toronto Jo. Apparently they are sold at Bravo Pizza on Millwood. At $10 a bottle they had better be good but I see Goody's uses them so I'll take the chance. I also see that McKeon sells them and I'll have to check the price next time I take a tour.

re: TorontoJo
As it is expected to rain Sat am I decided to buy the pickles at a retailer listed on the Toorshi web site. Royal Beef was sold out and Fiesta Farms was as well. Must be a big seller. So off to Wychwood Barnes tomorrow. Unless it rains
