re: kerryfood
Butler Brothers in Harrison near the train station has decent prepared food , however their chocolate chip cookie is excellent . For my taste a perfect cookie. A bit crunchy around the edges soft and chewy on the inside . A perfect ratio of chocolate chips to dough. And NO NUTS

re: Sra. Swanky
Thanks Swanky, I knew you were too powerful for those elf mind tricks. For some reason I didn't think of Galloway's, even after trying one of their pies a while back. They're open Friday through Sunday only, so I'll try to stop by. Lulu's, where I've window shopped, is known as an upscale pricey baker that some people love, but my feelings are mixed.

re: Big_Salad
While I"m not the hugest fan of Lulu, their chocolate chip cookies are pretty stupendous (as are all the cookies I've tried there). They have caramel mixed in the batter and Valrhona chocolate chunks. La Tulipe has great chocolate chip cookies that always seem to be fresh and have gooey soft warm from the oven chocolate chunks. They're more petite.

re: Sra. Swanky
I tried Galloway's a few weeks ago. The minimum purchase quantity was 8 (not sure if that's always the case or because I went the day before Thanksgiving) and they were hardly soft batch. Just crumbly and so so. Bradley's desserts in Larchmont bakes a better version and so does Patisserie Salzburg in Rye.
