Gluten Free~ Greater Seattle

Carbear99 Sep 20, 2011 04:32 PM

Visiting the Greater Seattle aren in a couple of weeks..

I have all my normal favorites, but this will be my first Gluten Free visit, so I want to find some places that do Gluten Free Donuts, Pizza, Desserts, etc. We love all kinds of food, so I'm looking for things not to be missed in the gluten-free world! Gluten free Ethnic food options would be great as well!

Thanks for your help!

Ray's Cafe in Ballard is very friendly to gluten-free diners. The regular menu has many items marked "GF". The servers are trained to answer about dietary restrictions. Most of the menu items can be adjusted to accommodate GF.
I'm gluten-free and dairy-free, and I was very comfortable dining there. I felt like a "normal diner". :-)
Go during the daylight because the waterview is wonderful.

Tulio, and if I remember correctly, Sazerac, have gluten free menus.

You might try the Flying Apron bakery and coffeeshop in Fremont.
