Need Restaurant Recs Between Hamilton and Howell/Freehold

Small group from various parts of NJ meeting up for dinner on Friday. Any suggestions for someplace between Hamilton and Howell/Freehold, preferably close to I-195. Thanks!

Spigola is a decent Italian restaurant off of 195, in Hamilton Square. It's in a strip mall and they try to hard to be cool and fashionable, but the food itself is quite good.

Sort of halfway, not off 195, though, closer to Rt.33...Taverna Ouzo in Monroe Twp? Haven't been to this location but I really enjoyed my last visit to Pithari in Highland Park (same owners).
They do have a liquor license in this location.

Taverna Ouzo is in my neighborhood. If you're going on a Friday night, they are beginning LIVE GREEK music this Friday. I plan to go, but will call in advance to be sure. It's a perfect "party-type" restaurant for a group of 10 or less. OPA!!

This is a tough one as Great Adventure seems to be about half way and there isn’t much nearby.

The only places that I can think of are the Happy Apple Inn in Imlaystown http://happyappleinn.com/ and the Clarksburg Inn http://clarksburginn.net/ . The Happy Apple Inn is pretty good but I haven’t been there in quite a while. I’ve only had burgers at the Clarksburg Inn but I recall that they were excellent. Both places are in the boondocks so I would definitely make sure that if you weren’t familiar with the area you had a GPS in the car.

There is a Federici's on Rt. 9 in Howell in a stripmall. Not far from 195, not a fancy restaurant but excellent thin crust pizza, salad, and main dishes. It's also a BYOB. If you like pizza, you'll love Federici's.

FYI The address that popped up is their main restaurant, just as good, not a BYOB. I am not sure if either takes cards, cash only, so go prepared.......................
