Interesting Corporate Dinner

Hi, I'm in charge of planning a corporate dinner for approximately 20 people in the next few weeks. I'm thinking about doing dinner in an engaging environment. I don't want to do the typical dinner in a restaraunt. Any suggestions?

  1. I once attended a business dinner for about 20 in a loft with a private chef who was doing cooking demos. It was quite interactive and fun. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the chef or provide any contact info but I thought it was a great ice-breaker.

    1. How about the James Beard House? Have no idea if it fits your budget, but if it does, I think the meal would certainly not be "typical".

      1. If you're jazz lovers, you could look into Jazz Standard which serves a full dinner menu. It's run by Danny Meyer's Blue Smoke team and is available for groups.

        1. I think this looks really fun, cool, and super interesting: www.cookingbythebook.com. Good luck!

          1. Thanks guys! All of your ideas sound great, however, my boss wants a formal dinner. So I'm searching for a sophisticated, yet interesting venue. Any more input is greatly appreciated.

            1. The ones I'd recommend are Bar Boulud and Eleven Madison Park. You can call them and they can arrange special rooms and menus for you...
