Heartburn, but worth it!

I know it's not in the greater Boston area, but had lunch at "Hot Dog Annie's" last Friday in Leicester. Forgot how good those dogs are. Grilled bun, girlled dog, with Annie's original BBQ sauce (has onions in it). A bottle of Annie's private label root beer, and a bag of Wachusset chips. Now that's lunch; with heartburn for desert. Heaven!!!

Skinless, but very good nonetheless. I do however prefer dogs with a casing.
      Really Enjoyed,

    2. Maybe a stop at Georges Coney Island for dessert?

      1. You should post this on the Southern New England board, since as you say, Leicester is pretty far from Boston. It's more than 1 hour driving, without traffic.

Good advise, but it's amazing how far a Boston "Hound" will travel for a good "dog".

Hound? Dog? I'm starting to see a connection here.

I just might .... there's a drive-in theatre I was hoping to check out in Leicester anyhow. :)

4 dogs for $4.00 on Wednesday. $1.20/ea. all other days. Be prepared to eat a few. I'm old enough to remember when they were 3/$1.00. Yikes!

I once drove a total of 300 miles to get a hot dog from Al's in Naugatuck, CT, and Super Duper Weenie in nearby Fairfield, but then again, I have some issues.
