anyone see any Ontario Quince at the Farmer's Markets
I know it's a bit early but I was wondering if anyone has spotted them yet at any of the Farmer's Markets. I've seen them in the market but they are from Chile. Trying to find local.
Thank-you

I am also looking! In the past I've got them at the Harvest Wagon at Yonge and Summerhill but was there yesterday and they didn't have any (they said they might have some later in the season but were not sure) besides that they are very expensive there in the past and if you are needing a number for jelly making it's prohibitive,

They're not a big seller. I'd try contacting some of the orchards listed on the various Ontario sites.

This seems true. Last year I stumbled upon them at the Kitchener Market, but generally speaking, I haven't seen them around in TO.
... Actually, now I recall needing to buy more, and I got some at a produce place near Danforth and Pape. I think I had to wait until mid-October for the harvest to come in.

Saw some at Highland Farms in Miss. this a.m. Imported, completely odorless, rock-like and 2.99/lb.
