Dinner Party for 50

Dear Chowhounds,

I'm hoping you can give me some ideas for a restaurant to host my office holiday party.

We'll be about 50 people and we're looking for a spot in midtown. Our total budget is about $10,000, so we should be able to do sometime very nice. We'd like to have passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails to start, and then a dinner served buffet-style.
