Any suggestions for a Belge/French spot near The Hotel ( Hilton on Waterloo)? Will be in Brussels end of Nov. Thanks to all who have posted good suggestions for Brussels....

Sorry, my error. It is TheHotel- a Hilton on 38 Bd Waterloo near Egmont Parc.

Depends what you are looking for - there's probably 40 - 50 restaurants within walking distance.
If you head towards the Sablon (just behind the hotel, you can walk through the park), Lola, Ciao and ORPHYSE CHAUSSETTE can be recommended. La Clef des Champs is not bad either. This is popular area so maybe think of reserving - there are however lots of other restaurants around this attractive square.
In the Avenue Louise direction, DE LA VIGNE A L'ASSIETTE has a worthwhile wine list and interesting food.
The Maison du Boeuf restaurant in the hotel used to have a michelin star but has lost it - have the impression it has faded a bit so best forget about it unless you have a recent recommendation
