Contagion--food borne illness

We've just seen Contagion. If you haven't seen this movie, you probably don't want to read this, because I am interested in what other Hounds think about the last few moments of the movie--when we learn how the disease actually was transmitted. OK, if you haven't seen the movie stop here.

This extremely contagious viral disease got its start in hotel or restaurant kitchen. You've seen the chef wipe his hands on his apron, after having them in the mouth of an infected pig. Any comments? Thoughts?

  1. The virus is Hollywood. However, fear and people's reaction to fear is real.

      "The virus is Hollywood."

It never stops, because it always morphs into another strain.

    2. If you really want to discuss this movie click on (internet movie database) and search for Contagion. Please type 'spoiler' in your title so as not to give any of the plot away. I haven't seen the movie yet so can't comment on your post otherwise.

      2. Ummmm....isn't titling the thread with"food borne illness" already a spoiler?

        1. Can't wait to find out the origin of the zombie bug in "Walking Dead," especially after the CDC went kablooey in the last ep.
