Are my choices good for 5 nights?

For our 5 nights in Boston we have selected
Fri......Hamersley's Bistro
Sat. Mistral
Sun. Lumiere
Mon. No. 9
Tues. Island Creek Oyster

Would appreciate any advice for substitutions

Maybe go more casual one night? Those are all pretty upscale although ICO isn't the least bit stiff. Perhaps Coda, Audobon, Metropolis, Gaslight, Green St.

I think the OP has made five great choices. One can stress to no end about whether these are the best possible five, or one can relax knowing that they are going to have five excellent meals. Put me in the latter camp.

I would drop Mistral and Lumiere. They are great places, but I think there are better options. I like the suggestions of Craigie on Main and Oleana.

I wouldn't drop Mistral. If you like salmon, they have one of the best salmon dishes in the city. Atmosphere and service are lovely too.

raisel, welcome in advance; a beautiful time to visit us. You haven't really told us about where you are visiting from and what kind of food you love, are used to, and/or crave, but if i were to recommend our best, it would not include your first four, esp. not the first and third.. I would replace from these(consistent CH favs and well reviewed by our Boston Globe restaurant critic, Devra First.):
          Erbaluce
          Craigie on Main
          Neptune Oyster
          Clio
          Oleana
          OYa
          Deuxave
          Menton
          L'Espalier
Pull up their menus and see what wows you!

Will you have a car? Lumiere is kind of a pain to get to without one.
