tw food or Clio

Given a choice, would you rec. TW food or Clio? I know one is very expensive, but I know that is not always the best.

Thanks in advance

I've been a fan of TW Food (haven't been to Clio). They used to do a Wednesday kitchen improv (3-5 course meals for under $50) that I've been to twice and loved. I think everyone in the party had to order it, but even then ... each individual dish was vastly different from the other which made for a very enjoyable experience.

I've been to both, and the answer is, "it depends". If you're looking for an all-out, expensive but amazing tasting menu, go to Clio, no question. But TW Food has been good every time that I've been there. I'd go to Clio once every two or three years, but I could eat at TW Food every month or so.

I have been to TW many times and always enjoyed highly. I've been to Clio once and was underwhelmed, though we ordered a la carte. This is one person's one-time experience, so probably shouldn't weight too heavily in your decision. They are very different places.
