Annam Brahma - Vegetarian cuisine in Jamaica
Had lunch at Annam Brahma in Jamaica this week (84-43 164th St.) and was quite impressed. I was part of a group of 6 and everyone commented on the freshness and variety of the food. Although their speciality is Indian, they also have Italian, American and Chinese dishes. I had a garbanzo salad that was nice, but was actually jealous of the grilled cheese, "BLT" and dosas that others ordered.
I now have a good reason to leave the office for lunch.

Congratulations! You've (possibly) become the first Chowhounder on this board to review a Sri Chinmoy restaurant. (or at least the search function didn't find "Sri Chinmoy" in Outer Boroughs for me)
I ate at another Sri Chinmoy restaurant years ago and liked it very much. I cannot remember the name.
The Sri Chinmoy are an interesting group:

re: Glendale is hungry
I have eaten dosa at Indian restaurants in the Philadelphia area, but not recently in NY. I didn't even order a dosa at Annan, but the person who did enjoyed it very much. Looking at it (masala dosa), I was kicking myself that I hadn't ordered it. Definitely next time.
Glendale, the Sri Chinmoy aspect of the restaurant kinda went in one eye and out the other as it was a business lunch and I was focused on other things. I did feel more relaxed when I left though...
