Where oh where can I find some fish w/ginger and scallion? I used to go to Jun Bo, but it is closed. It's my bride's birthday, and she loves this dish!

Go to Mandarin Kitchen and get it freshly cooked. When Asians want fish, it needs to be "swimming" fresh.

Mandarin Kitchen will cook a fish for you any way you please. You just have to ask. Many of their better offerings are not printed on the menu. My wife and I have eaten fish with ginger and scallions there many times.

Shuang Cheng in Dinkytown offers it. I don't see it on Hong Kong Noodle's menu, but I see items which are pretty close; they might make it if you ask. Probably other places, too, but those two came to my mind right away.

Shuang Cheng offers both Sole and Walleye, steamed in Ginger and Scallions - sounds intriguing. It is a simple Cantonese dish so really any place serving up fresh fish should be able to do it but Shuang Cheng looks like a good start.
