An Italian restaurant serving Tuscan cuisine in Manhattan?

Hey guys,

I'm looking for an Italian restaurant in Manhattan serving Pappa al Pomodoro. It's a type of Tuscan stew with bread and tomatoes. I saw online through Zagat that one restaurant, Pepolino, had it, but upon visiting their website, I found out they did not. Any suggestions?! I'm going in October and any other great restaurant suggestions are also appreciated.

You may want to call Pepolino, it could be a special which wouldn't be on the Web site, or they might just make it for you if you ask. They're very nice there.

Yeah maybe I will. I just read a review on their website raving about how good it was there so I can't imagine they wouldn't have it now.

Pomodoro Rosso in the Upper West Side serves Pappa al Pomodoro. I haven't been there but for what it's worth the Yelp reviews seem pretty good.

Pomodoro Rosso is a huge fail.
