Definitely prefer the show to Chopped, the new Iron Chef (although it doesn't hold a candle to the original), and most other cooking competitions on Food Network. That being said, it only served to save place on my DVR for Top Chef and Top Chef Just Desserts (Top Chef Masters was a disappointment this year. Neither top chefs, nor masters. Discuss.)

I actually liked the concept of the show, but Rocco seems like such an ***hole to them. I loved that it combined the decoratiing and had some stars at the party in a somewhat relaxed setting. Maybe it will improve.

Although am not a fan of Rocco DiSpirito, I do prefer this show over say, Chopped on Food Network.

Rocco's dinner party would best be filmed in a medium security prison. (Where the menu is more in his range.)

It had about 6 episodes for it's 1st season, but had the finale already. I would imagine reruns are being aired though.
