At the Trump Las Vegas 9/21/11

I'm getting married and have my two kids, ages 21 and a very always starving 18 yr old boy. Any suggestions in that area that might save a couple of bills in room service?

TIA,
Jeff in Denver

Just got back from staying 3 nights at the Trump resort...great resort and when I order room service, I order off the kids menu to save $$..works great and who doesn't love chicken fingers, tater tots, mac n' cheese and chocolate sundaes...super cheap and they don't question it.

You must go to Lotus of Siam for some of the best Thai in the US...it's in a dive of a shopping center off Sahara but its so good and cheap..couple of miles from Trump.
$10 for buffet of all you can eat and off the menu is off the chain good and cheap..very busy for lunch and dinner.
Food court at the Fashion Show mall was marginal..had a slice for $5.

Upgrade to a suite with city view for $50-$100 a night and they have a full kitchen with Sub-Zero fridge and if your driving, I would bring a cooler with drinks and snacks...if not, those peanut butter crackers, string cheese, chex mix that are easily transportable in luggage.

Wynn across the street has a great Jewish Deli..so does Treasure Island..Canter's..huge sandwiches that will fill that starving 18 year old up.
Really enjoy Country Club restaurant at the Wynn.

    Congrat's on your wedding Jeff!

Trump is next to fashion show mall which has a food court and maggianios, stripburger and el segundo sol, all reasonable, you can get restaurant.com coupons for them too.
