Loaded question of course...price, style, personal preference etc....

    Antica Posta

    Sotto Sotto

    Fritti

    La Tavola

    Baraonda
    La Grotta

246 (new to the list but have not tried)

Davios (new to the list but have not tried)

Again...depends what you like...some people like Pricci, Veni Vidi Vici, Alfredo's, Maggianos...but not my faves.

And then the pizza conversation: Antico, Varasano's, Fritti, etc.

-- as far as real good southern Italian like my days in the Bronx as a child, its hard to beat Alfredos--the food is authantic and terrific, and its been there forever--its a family place, not as fancy/smantsy as other places--if you go on weekedn make a reseravtion, its always full--BTW the ravinia La Grotta is very good--ive been to the otehr L Grotta location and it was terrible, dont even know if its still there

Oscar's Villa Capri in Dunwoody - small, unique, and wonderful food

For everyday family dining: Ippolitos (we go to Sandy Springs). Inexpensive, huge servings, very consistent with excellent daily specials.
