kid friendly dinner between PS3 and Washington Square Village?
Picking up my 5 year old son from afterschool around 5:30 tomorrow and thinking of doing a dad-son dinner out before we go home. Our fall-back option would be something like Five Guys but I would like something that has options that are a little more upscale or varied for me.
He will be easy with fries, pizza, pasta with butter, rice with soy.
I actually am on a low carb diet for which none of those are recommended. I'd go for meat, fish, salad, Asian without noodles.
I should note that another place that in an ideal world would work is Bare Burger (where I can get a burger with lettuce wrap and and not bread) but for some reason my son can't stand that place.
Any ideas?

Might be too late, but Jane is always a good bet for kids. And Bareburger right at WSV is, in my opinion, better than Five Guys and has more variety and atmosphere
