BOSTON STYLE CANTONESE CHINESE FOOD - SAN DIEGO

I was wondering if anyone knows about a good Boston Style Cantonese Chinese food restaurant in San Diego. There are lots of reasonable Chinese restaurants but none have specifically what I'm looking for, which is a dark shrimp with lobster sauce or what they call lobster Cantonese.

I've tried all the normal "good" Chinese restaurants on Convoy and like them but they don't have the dark lobster sauce.

Thanks.

Good luck. We used to frequent Boston's Chinatown a long time ago (Golden Dragon was our favorite). Definitely Americanized Chinese food but good in its own way. My wife and I have been to many SD Chinese restaurants during the past seven years and we are of the opinion that SD Cantonese restaurants are not very close to Singapore, Hong Kong, NYC, or San Francisco Cantonese restaurants. Like most of the other Cantonese restaurants not in Canton Province they are all a "version" of Cantonese cuisine, and in San Diego's case, not very good versions.

Try China Inn in Pacific Beach. I'm pretty sure it is the style of food you are looking for, and they list "Shrimp with Lobster Sauce" on their menu.

        Maybe Chop Suey North Park?
