Great deal on LivingSocial today -- $10 for $20 of groceries at Whole Foods.

Not sure if this works anywhere other than the SF Bay Area, so I wasn't sure which board to post on. It's a great deal, nonetheless!

Used my coupon today for some really random grocery shopping. Got Ghiradelli cocoa powder, 1/2 lb. of wild Alaskan salmon, two bottles of kombucha (GT Synergy on sale 2/$5), and a box of GF whole grain alphabet pasta (De Boles brand, on sale 3/$5).

Berkeley, used it to get Sir Francis Drake. $29+/lb at WF and admittedly cheaper at Cheeseboard but I came out ahead with coupon. I believe since the last batch that they have changed the packaging to clear to allow the red rind to show.

PS deal is sold out with 1,000,000 sold.

I just came back from Whole Foods in Oakland, the store had a flyer touting a number of weekly specials, and one of them was New Zealand's Atkins Ranch lamb shoulder blade chop for $3.99 / lb. I bought 5 lbs worth, used my LivingSocial printout, and came out of the store essentially paying $2 / lb for fresh lamb. I asked the cashier whether I was the first person to redeem the coupon, she said no, they'd been coming in all morning.

Glancing at their flyer, three other weekly specials worth mentioning are
*) prepared foods Assorted Sandwiches, Soups and Salads, 2 for $6, or 1 for $3.65
*) Bay Scallops (Wild, Previously Frozen), $8.99 / lb
*) 3 lb bag of Bartlett Pears for $1.99

looks nationwide (or wherever there are Whole Foods)

I changed my location and this deal still popped up for Daily Deal

This way you get the food at normal prices instead of the usual inflated prices.

Not the produce, but some of the 365 brand products can provide some excellent values.

I find their brand name items often priced less than Safeway. I think the old "Whole Paycheck" thing is way of of date.

This is true. One recent example was a bottle of Cholula hot sauce. 80 cents cheaper at WF Stanyan than at Parkside Safeway. Who knew?
