Picnic provisions for drive out Icefields Parkway
This Sunday we will be driving from Calgary to Jasper on the Icefields Parkway, stopping along the way to take in the sights. My understanding is that food options are slim north of Banff, so I am looking for recommendations on where to stop to quickly pick up picnic provisions. Canmore? Banff? Specific recommendations that wouldn't take us too far out of the way?

We tried to pick up food at WIld Flour, but they were sold out of everything (at about 8:30 in the morning) and didn't seem interested in making anything for us. Another time we tried going back for breakfast (at around 7:20) and it wasn't open yet. The food might be good, but they are lacking in the service. They could take some lessons from Bear Paw up in Jasper.
