Okay, about done with this show. That had to be the crappiest episode ever. Lost total respect for Will and Paul.

Or, if it is Elise that Gordon Ramsay gets stuck with her for a year, regardless of what she's doing in his restaurant.

meh. It's such a fake...there's no way any of these "chefs" could run a high-end kitchen, or conceptualize new dishes. They get their money and probably try to look useful but don't do too much (actually Elise would be awesome at that; she does less than anyone on the show)

GR probably spends less than a week a year in any single one of his US restaurants so he wouldn't need to see the winners much in any case.

I'd just like to see him stuck with her for a year, though I know it wouldn't happen. Can you imagine having her work near you for that long?

I read somewhere that the show supports The GR restaurants. They ALL lose money. It doesn't matter who wins. It's like Stuttering John's job at Jay Leno's show.

If Elise really becomes the boss it would make another, more entertaining show.

This year's winner isn't going to a GR restaurant; they're going to BLT. I don't believe Ramsay is involved with BLT Inc in any way but I could be wrong.

BLT is part of the ESquared group, which runs a bunch of restaurants but from their website does not appear to be affiliated with any of Ramsay's joints in any way.

a right old pair of Tweedledum and Tweedledee. Sure GR knew what their plan was, it was filmed for goodness sake, so it does appear it's all about the TV ratings. Elise was NOT a better chef, she has won fewer challanges and messed up numerous portions of white salmon at $$$ per lb. Others have been told 'to get out' for less than that.

I am far from a talented or even enthusiastic cook, but even I know you cook salmon skin side down. That was just nonsensical. It's not even Chef 101, it's cooking preschool.

They SO threw Jennifer away NOT because she was the weakest chef; because she was their biggest competition.

Definitely. It had nothing to do w/ Elise. But, Gordon Ramsay must have known it, it was his decision but I'm also thinking it was the producers decision. Elise is good drama. They'd already milked the crush thing.

I don't know why the contestants fight over who should be put up for elimination anyway. Time and again, Gordon picks whoever he wants, whether the person was up front or not.

I am a reality food contest whore....I mean whore ...I spend money and band-with to watch overseas Food Contest shows. They are like my crack to me and the Fox versions are just so bad (I was going to do so like this (soooooooooooooooooo bad) but that would just add fuel to the fire.

These shows are such bastardized versions of the overseas counter parts. You know what after about a year I'm just gonna come out and say it FOX sucks (insert body part here) mine has four letters ....that actually gives you a few options all of which are right.

Water Grill actually has a pretty good reputation. Wasn't Michael Cimarusti there at one point? Never been but do enjoy the oyster selection at King's Fish House (The chain of said company) always get great service and fresh oysters from the bar staff.

I've seen so much food reality TV, I'm having a brain fart over who the Chef was at the LA restaurant Paul and Tommy went to. Top Chef? Earlier Hell's Kitchen?
