Hyannis Gelato
I took a client to Cafe Gelato Bertini. She is on a special diet and can tolerate gelato vs ice cream. We were heading to another spot when I drove by this cutie pie place. We pulled in. The owners are delightful. They make their own gelato in house. The flavours are to die for. I sampled a strawberry banana that was refreshing and wonderful. My client had a small vanilla that she loved. It's a real find. They close end of Oct. and open in May. Stop in today.

We love the gelato there, too. We have been visiting there since they first opened. The original owners were from Florence, so we liked to stop by and chat in Italian (my husband used to work in Italy, so he is fluent). My understanding is that they sold to the present owners, including their recipes. You don't get quite the Italian culture fix that you once did, but the gelato is excellent. We've been travelling to Italy for over 20 years, and have sampled high-quality gelato in Florence, Rome and other cities. The gelato at Bertini is great!
