Just received one of those coupon books in the mail and among others there's one for Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries. Has anyone been? I've never heard of it. Its on Twelve Mile Rd. Thanks!

Yeah, me either. Figured out it's a chain but as many times I travel W. 12 mile every week, it's surprising I haven't noticed it. I wonder if it's special or similar to 5 Guys?

Sure looks like Five Guys/Smash Burger by the videos on the website. With all these burger and fries chains popping up the last few years, I wonder what happened where Fuddrucker's started to close locations, and whether or not these places will go that same route.
          Should Jaws Burger be concerned?

Went there last week, it is in the old Baja Fresh location on 12 Mile just west of Halstead (standalone building in the parking lot of the strip mall w/ Kroger and Antonio's). The burger wasn't out of this world, but not too bad for a quick lunch. It was juicy but could use some sort of seasoning, salt and pepper would have helped tremendously. Fries were good but nothing worthy of a special trip. Word of warning, a small order of fries is huge, I don't know if they are supersizing the portions because it is newly opened or if they are always going to be this big, but one small fry should satisfy two average diners. Overall, I will go back because it is close to work, speedy service, reasonably priced, and slightly above average food. I wouldn't drive from the Eastside just to try it, but if you are in the area give it a shot.

Thanks Wooderson. Across the street from there is a McDonalds. Which one do you prefer?
