Had the wonderful experience of eating here last week while we were in NH.......sort of stumbled upon it, checked out the menu and thought it would be a fun place to take our Aussie friends.......They have all sorts of "Pub food"--bubble and sqeak, bangers and mash, meatloaf, fish and chips and a great beer selection. The chef/owner does it all here--even growing his own produce for the evening meals. I can personally say the fish and chips is THE BEST I have had! and that includes over in the UK (my hubby and I always for good fish and chips whenever we travel, one of those guilty pleasures that we do not permit ourselves unless on vacation). Hubby's meat loaf had 3 pieces that were about 1 1/2" thick, a huge pile of mashed pototes and fresh sauteed garden veggies......so much he could not finish! Our friends were equally happy with their meals. I know that they just opened in May, and he has since had to hire a couple of people, which is a good thing--I like to see a small place like this be successful........great casual atmosphere..I could picture this place just filled during the winter after a day skiing........... I am....
a happy, satisfied, customer.. :-)
