Pork Caul

My usual source for meaty goodness like pork caul (Dittmer's) is still not open. Anyone know of another source for caul in the area?

    The Fatted Calf in Napa always has some for sale. Their SF store probably doesn't carry any, as most things are made in Napa, but they could probably get some brought down if you give them a few days notice.

      They get daily deliveries from Napa, so if they have it in stock they can have it quickly. When I ordered fresh duck livers from them, that took a while because they only process ducks on particular days of the week, and they usually use them for their house pates so I had to wait a little while, but the quality was fantastic and the service was perfect.

      I can usually get it at Golden Gate and from Mollie Stone's with a little extra notice.
