Grinder- buy Kyocera or Kuhn Rikon

I am undecided between Kyocera The Everything Mill Adjustable Grinder and Kuhn Rikon Vase Seasoning Grinder. Both look good but I would like to buy just one. Please advise which would be a better choice. I would be using the grinder mainly to grain flaxseeds and peppercorns. Thank you.

  1. We have the Kuhn Rikon and it seems to work well on peppercorns. It comes with extra plastic inserts/containers that hold the spices inside the mill so you can change them out say from peppercorns to flaxseeds. (Since I bought it at a thrift store we don't have the extra containers).

If I were you however I would go with a third choice, the Ikea spice grinder, if an Ikea store is in your are that is. They don't sell it on-line but it costs just $5.99.

They sell extra jars, 4 for $3.99.
