I'm not positing this to recommend the festival or the restaurants because I've no personal experience of either, but I thought it would be nice to add to the Chowhound more information about Friuli-Venezia-Giulia, since it is a wonderful food and wine region but not very well known.

Those planning a spring visit might also want to check out the Web site. The same organization has a similar program called "Profumi di primavera sul Natisone" on weekends in April and May.
