I picked up some flavored olive oil and vinegars at Fiore in Rockland ME over the past week and was really happy with the place. Any one else tried it? I am curious what others thought of the place.

Fiore is wonderful, and it has another shop in Bar Harbor.

I picked up a bottle of 18-year old balsamic vinegar this week.

I got some lemon white balsamic and some sherry vinegar there. I'm not a vinegar expert by any means, but they're absolutely delicious. I understand your question, though - I kept wondering "is this a tourist trap? Am I getting ripped off with cheap vinegar, and I'm just not sophisticated to taste the difference?" In the end, though, I really like the taste and it wasn't that expensive, so I'm happy with it.

Try the red grape fruit vinegar. I could drink it.
