For our last meal in SF, Perbaco or Aziza? Want something I can't find in Philly or NYC.

We loved the duck confit basteeya appetizer (very generous portion) and the cocktails at Aziza. Unusual, interesting and delicious menu selections and a helpful wait staff.

Went to Aziza and had the duck confit basteeya appetizer. Very good as was the rest of the meal, but my fav in SF, without doubt was Bar Tartine.

not to mention new york has plenty of great italian restaurants (and there's one in philly that's been etting a lot of national press lately), but nothing moroccan

New York has Moroccan restaurants, probably some with better traditional food than we have here, though I don't think they have anything like Aziza.

As for NYC, perhaps in the boroughs, but in Manhattan, we want to the best rated Moroccan and were disappointed.

aziza seems to me to be more california -morrocan. very modern cuisine. i also enjoyed commonwealth on that last trip.

Hands down Aziza. Perbacco is not even in the same league. Aziza is really special and its food is incredibly unique.
