and I'm wondering what you all think would be the best thing to do with it?

Suggestions appreciated.

while i have not tried that particular product, my experiences with pre-made soup mixes have not been good since the grains and beans all require different cook times. the results went in the trash.

hopefully somebody else has a better answer.

I haven't tried this one but do have the bob's vegetable soup mix. I cooked that up with my own home made chicken stock, leeks, salt, pepper and garlic. The most important thing to realize about both is that there are no seasonings or salt in them. Bob's does sell a separate spice pack for this and the black bean soup mix which has Chili Pepper, basil, Celery Seed, cumin Seed, oregano, Black Pepper, savory, salt, Garlic, Onion.

So I'd cook it with a good broth and whatever kind of seasonings you think you'd like it to taste like.
