It's a little out of the way, but there is a guy serving bbq in Keene (north side of rice lake) at a place called Muddy's Pit BBQ that is exceptional. He serves a brisket sandwich that is second to none. Only open wed. to sat. 11 to 8.

Ribs are indeed very good. Buster Rhino still the best for my money as I like ribs less saucy, but this is solid.

Had to give this a bump. We stopped by today without knowing anything about it. Just happened to be lucky enough to be driving by and we couldn't pass it up with the 2 smokers sitting out front. Hands down the best ribs I have had. Tender with some chew to them. Beautifully pink inside, nice and dark on the outside. The sauce had the slightest kick of heat and a nice vinegary tang.

Agreed. It has been mentioned favorably in another thread.

I've attached some photos of Muddy's Pit BBQ in Keene. It is a true BBQ Shack. Open end of April to the end of December. We use hardwood maple with no propane or gas to give it an authentic taste sticking to Beef Brisket, Ribs, Pulled Pork, and Hot Links.
