I need some recommendation for a coffee date spot in or around the Lincoln Square/Columbus Circle area. Something other than Starbucks and with a decent food menu would be ideal (in case it turns into a lunch date)

You could also consider Le Pain Quotidien on 65th and Broadway or Bouchon's enclosed cafe area (not the bakery) in the Time Warner Center.
