Where can I buy duck fat in LA??

I finally got myself a deep fryer and want to get down to business. I found places that I can order a gallon of rendered duck fat on line but shipping costs are almost the price of the product! Terrible....

Anyone know where I can purchase locally?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Whole Foods. In the cheese/deli section.

The Wine House on Cotner almost always has it in their refrigerated food section. And I'm pretty sure I've seen it at Artisan Cheese and the little Tujunga Village Gourmet shop, both in Studio City.

I've bought it at Surfas, but I put a duck in one of those vertical roaster someone bought me and I get a TON of duck fat in the tray at the bottom. I freeze it and use it as necessary. (potatoes, popcorn, mix with olive oil and do a confit).

Call Surfas. I think I have seen it there in the freezer.
